Let's learn about our staff
It takes a big heart to help shape little minds. The staff at Mountain Ridge Academy look forward to spending fun-filled days with your child while preparing them for a great future!
Hello! I am very excited to join the team at Mountain Ridge Academy. I find working with kids very rewarding. I like to share my knowledge and observe how quickly they absorb it and apply it and come back for more. It is very rewarding when you know that you are the person responsible for helping kids to achieve their full potential.
I believe in hands on learning. I also believe that each child has their own individual pace, and we as educators need to respect it and support it. I enjoy getting down on my knees and participating in kids' learning activities first hand. I enjoy supporting and promoting kids' imagination through play while leaving electronic devices behind.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and I am currently working towards my ECE certification. I have spent a lot of time volunteering at my daughters' pre-school and elementary schools and fell in love with the profession. I am thrilled to start my venture as a pre-school educator with Mountain Ridge Academy.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, explore the outdoors, ski, travel and play board games.
Hello! I am thrilled to be part of Mountain Ridge Academy! I am an early childhood educator, a licensed Montessori preschool teacher and a Kindermusik teacher. I am so excited to be embarking on this adventure and look forward to sharing my experience with the children at Mountain Ridge Academy.
Children deserve an early learning environment that is educational, fun and hands on. My philosophy is to be able to give each child a multifaceted approach to early learning that celebrates each child's potential and supports their individuality. Being a mom of two young children and a teacher, I know that children deserve the best start in life. As a teacher at Mountain Ridge Academy I strive to give your child my best!
When I'm not a teacher and a mom, I love to pretend I'm a rock star; by performing gigs and writing songs. I love being active and travelling with my favorite people; my husband and children!
I'm looking forward to our exciting year ahead!
